I’m researching the history of the house I bought in a mid-size city in Louisiana, and I’ve come across an odd situation: I see a listing in a 1933 telephone book for someone living at my address, but no census records exist for my address in the 1930-1950’s censuses. At least, I don’t see any records for my address in the respective enumeration districts. Am I missing something?

ETA: what makes this even more interesting is the house is said to have been built in 1939, but I found a phone listing for someone living here in 1933.
