Not sure if this is the right tag, but I accidentally cleaned my lens with a musty smelling microfiber
It was a new microfiber, was even still in the plastic wrap. It came with glasses I got online so probably stupid to use that microfiber but thought it would be okay since it was new. Didn't realize til after that it smelled musty and checked the camera and the smell had stuck to it
I cleaned the inside part too, which is my main concern since the outer lens is easier to clean and hasn't clung to the smell the same. I bought a lens cleaning kit and use the spray that it came with it and wipes specific for screens, ive left it without the cap so it airs out but nothing has worked. Im worried about fungus but so far im not seeing any so maybe it's just the smell?
I dont wanna spend a bunch of money to get it professionally clean. What can I do?
