I played Eve a while ago (never in any real depth) and I’m thinking about returning. One of the concerns I had is around the idea of multi-boxing being so normalised. A lot of the times I read about an activity on here there seems to be some reference to having an alt account to do something in parallel as though that is just normal, and everyone should have an alt account.

My question is, is it possible to play this game and still have fun without an alt or is it designed around multi-boxing to the point you need an alt to achieve anything?
