Started my dread journey April 7th 2023, & concluded it with gratitude yesterday, May 1st 2026. I've absolutely loved the last 3 years honoring the personal growth & authentic expression that my dreads symbolized & helped me lean into. But, with most things in my life, they have their time & season. I listened to my quiet inner feeling that it was time to move to a new chapter & I was happy that I responded to that quickly & didn't try to stay attached to the image that I'd come to love so much. I felt I needed to let them go, so I did, with love. I'm so grateful for the man beneath the dreads that I've become, I will never forget this amazing experience. 🙏💜
