Had Respiratory Illness, PT Now Gone

In February, I noticed I had pulsatile tinnitus in my right ear. A whoosing synchronized with my pulse rate. I would really notice it with positional changes. I assumed it was related to me tapering down a Lexapro prescription.

Mid April I got really sick, thought it was a very bad cold. Lots of URI symptoms. Took a bunch of Sudafed. Coughed my dang head off (still coughing).

At the 3-1/2 week mark of the illness, the PT is gone.

Glad for sure, wondering how.

A big thank you to those who post here. I would like to get a reduction. I wear a 44DD/44DDD (i can't seem to size myself for good bra fit but you get the idea) and I'm so tired of hauling these girls around and coping with them for clothes, swimwear and underwear. Its time. This thread has given me the courage to think "Why not me? Why not?"

Cost is a factor. I've aged out of my good insurance and am now on Medicare (I'm 67 but in outstanding health with perfect bloodwork, only take Zepbound and a statin).

I researched the average cost of reduction in the Phoenix metro area where I live and it came in @$8,000.

  1. If its not too pushy, what are we paying for reduction?

  2. How can we get a ballpark on cost from surgeons? They don't seem especially willing to give that info without an in-office consultation. I can't afford to throw away thousands of dollars as I try to find a surgeon.

I found a surgeon website here that cited $17,000 for a reduction. That seemed excessive after researching the average cost for my area. That is why I'm asking about what Redditors/Reduction are paying.

Thank you for any information you all might share. I'd really like to do this. At 16 years old I was a 34C and completely unprepared for the gross comments of people including adults, teachers, employers, family members, you name it. I've gained weight with time and a lot of it went straight to the breasts. I'd be proportional, comfortable and happy to get reduction done now that I'm older.
