Romero Britto Amazon, Bluebird, 1000 pieces

Did this one last week and finally had time to post, some of you might have seen the lovely u/suffraghetti_the_sec complete it a while ago. She hated it so much that she gave it away, which was very lucky for me as I'm the one that got it :D

While it was quite tricky to speedpuzzle and I hated all the greenery at the end, I did quite enjoy the rest of it. Good quality and a lovely image, might do this one again at some point

This puzzle is older than me but still in great condition, it's just the box that has seen better days. Really sturdy pieces and not a hint of damage on any of them.

As someone who grew up reading Asterix this was a really nostalgic puzzle for me and a fun build.

These are all the puzzles I'm taking back home with me from Berlin - the Minecraft one is from the Berlin Puzzle Rush, the rest mostly are mostly puzzles i traded for there and some i thrifted. They definitely won't all fit in the suitcase 😅

I'm currently in Berlin, does anyone know if there's a store here with a nice selection of jigsaw puzzles, maybe with some not so commonly found brands as well? Would love to get my hands on some Elena Essex or pure gradient puzzles for example, I'm not having much luck getting them second hand

Posting this a bit late (competition was on the 15th of April) because I took part in the online meeting and forgot to screenshot my result so i had to wait for the official results to see my time.

This was a Flex 50+ competition, meaning for puzzlers who have not yet completed 6+ puzzles in under 50 min. You could either take part in the online meeting (which i did) or compete offline.

The puzzle was decent quality but not an image I'd have chosen for myself. Wasn't really sure where to start with, I ended up doing the border first and then going back and forth between the background and the main parts of the image - i think i'll have to do this a couple more times with different strategies to figure out how i should have approached this for a better first try time.

For how much i was struggling with it I'm happy with my result though - 59:46 and 28. place, i was the last person that still managed to stay under one hour :D
