Back injury
I injured my lower back around 3 weeks ago after doing barbell squats at the gym. It was mostly just stiff but became quite sore and painful after doing a 30km long run. The past 2 weeks I have just been taking it lightly with running, mostly doing 4-5km runs and it has been fine with doing that. It got to a point where it was feeling 90% better. This morning I was at the gym doing pull ups and when I let go of the bar and landed on my feet, I had a shooting pain in my lower back and it still feels sore now but more an ache than any sharp pain.
I have a marathon in 2 days time... Is it realistic to still do the marathon or do I need to pull out?? I've been training since the start of the year and would be gutted to have to pull out of this one.
