Travel in Huehue/ viajando en Huehue
I'm traveling solo in Guatemala in a few weeks and plan to visit a friend living in rural Huehuetenango. My friend has given me instructions on how to arrive (los halcones to Huehue, then another transport to her community). The US state department warnings are fairly dire for this area. What advice do folks on this subreddit have for travel in Huehue, both the city (if I need to spend the night there) and the rural region?
