Hey all, I am looking to upgrade from my oooold Yamaha receiver to run my little unifinished basement 5.1.2 system. I currently have a polk ES30 for my center, two Andrew Jones bookshelves for the FR, and FL. I have some cheapo basic satellites for my rears and am looking at getting Polk Atrium 5's for mounting to ceiling joists. My sub is a RSL 10S MKII.
My basement is unfinished and the area that is carved out for the movie/gaming setup is roughtly 15'x10'x7.8' and I have a sectional that unfortunately has to go up against the back wall.
The receivers I am looking at are the refurbished Denon AVR-S760H, Refurbished Denon AVR-X1700H (not in stock), or the Onkyo tx-rz30. I know there are some that say to look for used Denon 3800's but I have had no luck finding good deals on used receivers in my area.
Since this isn't going to be some nice finished theatre and am slightly limited by size what would you suggest to fit my needs?
