I pulled a Lacie external hard drive out of my closet; haven't used in probably five years. It did nothing when plugged into my Windows computer; I extracted it from the enclosure and connected it to my computer with a SATA-to-USB adapter, but it still does nothing. No noise, no recognition from the computer that anything is there, nothing. Not sure what the next step would be.
