572 marks, expected rank 90k -1.1lakh

1st priority is maharashtra, then karnataka

Like unless its very good college like kims or stuff or else not open for deemed in kt, then thinking of pims loni directly

Realistically, in which colleges I have chance for a seat in KT n what should be order/ preference list, like under 12l merit pvt one n r they good?

Money constraints not much but max 1.1 cr not more than that

My parents can afford a deemed, but I'm pretty sure if I take a drop, will get any top college next year. What to do? My parents r saying ug doesnt matter, why do u want to waste 1 year? Just grind in college

The logic of why he was right:

1. Why Archers were rated highly

Bhishma prioritized mass impact over individual strength.

Archers were at the top because they had the best range and volume.

One archer could suppress an entire division from a distance, whereas a mace fighter had to walk up to every single person to do damage. It was purely about efficiency.

He also valued the defense. A great archer acts like a shield for the whole army by shooting down incoming projectiles.

He ranked people based on this coverage and their ability to handle high tech celestial weapons, which required more mental discipline than just having strength.

The flaws and why he was unfair

He was a total gatekeeper for the elite.

He gave high ranks to the Upapandavas based on their bloodline and their expensive training, this felt unfair to me personally.

He used the rankings as a psychological weapon n literally started moral policing Ashwathama srsly bud.

Calling Karna a Half Ratha wasn't a mistake. It was a move to hurt Karna’s ego and keep him off the field.

It worked, but it proved the list was a political tool to sabotage a rival.

He ignored the chaos factor. Bhishma’s list assumed a clean, rule bound war.

He underestimated Mace fighters like Bhima n Duryodhana because they didn't fit his refined system.

But when the war turned into a muddy, desperate slaughter, those lower ranked specialists were the ones who actually survived and finished the job.

Bhishma was right about the military stuff but wrong about the human element. He treated the warriors like chess pieces and ignored the grit and ego that actually decide a war.

As I was once again thinking abt the 13th day, this came to my mind. As jaydhrata had easily kept hold of Pandavas, why dont capture them?

Like he could hold back all 4 of them, n satyaki n others that day, so why didnt they just capture Yudhishtir?

N if Jaydhrata wasnt able to handle multiple warriors, then why didnt Pandavas use it to rescue Abhimanyu?
