Hi all
Looking for advice please as I have never used a range before. We just moved into a cottage in Cornwall, UK with a TS2 Gas Brandon Waterford Stanley. Looks just like this pic.
I know it works but its due its annual service. Its taken me several weeks to find someone who can service it. He has quoted £270 for the annual service which I thought was pricey. Having spoken to several people who know more about these things than me, they send that spare parts might also be an issue in the future. A guy who works in the industry said that fewer companies are paying annual fees to be gas registered as its expensive, and that younger tradespeople are not learning about gas.
All in all, its makes me worried about the future viability and cost of keeping this. Would really appreciate your opinions. Thankyou!
