Hi so I might be adopting a canary from PetSmart. Is all of this good for it?
Hi everyone, so I’m still very new to learning about birds and their behaviors. I work at a PetSmart and there’s this canary that we have. I noticed her health declining ever since her sister got sold. I wasn’t there when it happened, otherwise I would have convinced the customer to take both. I’ve been thinking about taking her home.
My only concern is I am a college student and I only go home for summer, winter, and like once a month during the semester. I already pay for dog food( for my parents)and take care of 3 bettas. It would not be financially responsible at all. However, her health is declining and she’s been there awhile, and no longer has her sister that she came in with:(
Also, is the cage above sufficient or would she need more? If I get her, and once she’s settled in, I will get another canary so she has a friend.
Basically, what the question says up top. My family dog is very reactive to everything right now. She’s a cane corso( yes I know what you’re thinking). I can’t do anything about it, but I just want her to calm down a bit when she goes outside. I also think she’s going through another false pregnancy. Her nipples have dropped a couple years ago, and she’s been resource guarding and being very protective of this electronic ball I got her for her birthday, recently.
I’m addicted to my phone, and it’s seriously effecting everything in my life. I’ve tried to give myself breaks from it or just social media in general, but every time I pick it up I click on a notification and end of just scrolling. I hate it, but every time I fall victim to it. It’s really impacting my productivity and school progress for sure. Which, in turn, is effecting my mental health. I am in my early 20’s btw. I don’t want to delete any apps because scrolling on my down time is fine. I also use apps like TikTok for different things. General unfiltered news, laughs, a new idea for dinner, fun activities to do in the summer. Instagram, I use to be connected with old friends and watch reels. I also play brain games on my phone, but I really want to reduce my screen time to like 5 hours at most. It’s embarrassing how high it is. Just yesterday it was at 18h. However, at least a 1/4 of my screen time comes from being in FaceTime with my bf, usually at night.
