I'm loving mardu synth currently with the black mages rod but at time my first few turns feel VERY slow. I had match with a mono red rally deck one time and it stomped me. The entire match lasted less than 20 mins.

Here's how I usually start my turn ideally (at least in my head)

Turn 1 : tapped land

Turn 2 : untapped land then black mage rod

Turn 3 : another land, lembas

Turn 4 : land, glint hawk / skyfisher. Bounce lembas. Play lembas

Am i playing this wrong? Would appreciate any insights!

I read somewhere here that mono red impact tremors was viable but I'm not able to find ant decklist. Anyone have any leads?
