BenQ is now selling 3:2 ratio monitors targeted towards programmers (I have the rd280ug) and they're awesome, but I cannot get any refresh rate past 60Hz to work at the full resolution of 3840x2560. Bandwidth / pixel clock aren't issues, and yet 75-120Hz only works at the 3840x2160 and below.
I've tried using CRU but all changes are ignored. I tried moving from DisplayID 1.3 to 2.0 and using CVT-RB and all kinds of things. From what I can tell based on some research, it's purely something driver-side that is blocking me. I see this was also an issue with 4K 120Hz at one point but that is no longer the case (works fine on my prev monitor and this new one).
I know this isn't the best place to post but I am really hoping the right person notices this post and passes it along.
I _love_ my Snapdragon machine. I just upgraded from a Surface Laptop 7 13.8" to a 15", and my wife has a 13.8" as well. Never had machines as stable and smooth as these. They just work.. except in this particular case.
