Comparing the 2.3A fast charger vs the stock 1.3A on my Navee GT3 Max
I bought this 2.3A fast charger on AliExpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006482736703.html (no affiliate, just the product page).
I wanted to see how much time it actually saves compared to the stock 1.3A charger, so I logged a full session through the app from 26% to 95%.
Results:
- 26% → 80% in 160 minutes (constant 2.3A, perfectly linear)
- 80% → 95% in 76 minutes (current tapers from 2.3A down to 270mA)
- Total: 3h 56min for +69%
The stock 1.3A charger takes 9 to 10 hours for a full charge.
Notes:
- The charger reaches around 50°C during the bulk phase, so keep it off carpet or wood
- It cools down once the tapering phase kicks in
- It's a Brightway OEM (the same factory that produces chargers for Navee and Xiaomi scooters)
Honestly, I'm really happy with this setup. I was originally considering a Segway G3 Max with its built-in fast charging, but the Navee GT3 Max cost me about half the price and gives me the same real-world range (around 40 km in practice). Adding this fast charger basically closes the gap. No regrets at all about not going for the Segway.
Has anyone else been running this charger? Curious to see if your numbers line up with mine.
