Need help and guidance
Hello CBSECommerce. i must admit I'm new to this subreddit and reddit as a whole. up until grade 10th I was an ICSE student. after my boards ended i got admission in a decent cbse school for subjects commerce with standard math (NOT applied). I got 91.8% in my ICSE boards. but now all is done from stream selection to admission but I really don't know what I'm supposed to do now.
Knowing EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY FRIENDS has taken PCM, some in the same school but I really can't ask anyone for what i should do now. My school started on April 6th and now I'm on my summer vacation and at my hometown. All i know about the commerce stream is that in short accountancy is a hard subject and so is economics at some point, and math obviously.
So far what I've studied on my own is the first two chapters of accountancy TS grewal, and 3 chapters of maths, namely sets, relations and functions and binomial theorem.
till grade 10th I did my maths and science from home tuitions and never really went to any coaching. also i regularly went out with friends, watched many shows, and many stuff altogether still I'm very satisfied with my 10th result, not that it matters anyways. my point is that since I've never really went to a coaching to study, do I need coaching for these supposedly hard subjects that are accountancy and maths? or without some online batch even. i mean pure self study for 11th at least? the idea of sitting at some coaching class for 4 hours a day after school genuinely haunts me.
i mean so far I find these subjects interesting(especially math) but i procrastinate A LOT so I'm unsure if I'll be able to study at my own pace and be able to actually solve problems of accountancy or whatever or do I need coaching for self discipline and routine?
TL;DR earlier ICSE student takes commerce stream in a cbse school, needs help with subjects like accountancy and standard maths. unsure if coaching is required or not. If not then how much time should I give to each subject and how often in a week.
