Need help with plants:)
Hey guys, need some help with my planted tank :)
It’s a 30L tank, around 2.5 months old, no CO2. Fish, shrimps and snails all seem healthy my shrimps even bred recently, so the tank overall looks stable. But the plants just refuse to grow, especially the background plants which have stayed almost the same since setup.
I was doing weekly water changes, but after visiting a local store I switched to once every 4 days and started using a fertilizer they recommended. I’ve done around 6 water changes with ferts now but still no visible improvement.
Light was originally 6 hours, but I started getting algae on the glass. Since the tank is near a window, I reduced it to 4 hours as advised.
No major issues otherwise, just very stagnant plant growth. Any idea what could be wrong or what I should change?
