I had a weird familiar smell right before my body started to tense up and start to convulse. I started screaming for my boyfriend to help me, and I could only use 1 word, like “hospital hospital”, “help, help”. My bf thought that I was having a panic attack but I ended up going to the hospital and they said that I was severely dehydrated and my CK levels were elevated due to muscle tension during this “episode”. The doctor said that since I didn’t pee myself, and that I was able to talk during it, it couldn’t have been a seizure, but google says otherwise and says it could be focal seizures ?

Does anyone here have any experiences with focal seizures ?
