I have been offered a chance to relocate to Singapore for a 2-3 year period. It is something we are interested in however I currently have a long term partner. We are not married or in a country with common law spouse laws. We do have joint home ownership, joint bank account and such.
What VISA possibilities would be available for my partner?
As far as I can see due to being unmarried the long term visit pass and dependant passes would not be applicable. Salary wise I would meet the requirements for a dependant but I don’t think it matters in this circumstance.
This then leaves her either needing an employment or S pass through obtaining a job offer or constantly applying for short term visas which I assume may not be guaranteed to be granted for a 3 year time period.
Is my thinking above regarding options correct or is there anything I am misunderstanding/missing?
Has anyone been in a similar scenario and managed to make it work?
