I’m having a strange issue with my Makera Carvera and I’m trying to figure out if it’s a bug or something on my side.
After finishing a job, when I load and start a new file, the machine sometimes starts moving in a hesitant/jerky way (just a bit, you may not notice it), especially during travel moves. It almost feels like it’s a big stuttering.
Then, during the next machining operation, it will usually lose steps (sometimes on multiple axes), which obviously ruins the part.
The weird part is that everything goes back to normal after a full reboot of the machine.
So far I’ve noticed:
It doesn’t happen on the first job after powering on
It can affect multiple axes at once
Reboot always fixes it
Has anyone experienced something similar on the Carvera ? Could this be firmware, buffer, or driver related?
Any ideas would be appreciated!
