Shared care refused, meds not on NHS records...
Hi everyone! 👋
As the title says, shared care was refused in December (psych UK are continuing to prescribe my meds so it's fine).
I was looking at my NHS health record yesterday for a different reason and noticed that although my ADHD diagnosis is recorded, my ADHD medication is not.
I'm concerned about it. If I'm prescribed medication by my GP, if they're unaware of my ADHD meds it could cause complications etc. I could forget to mention my ADHD meds to my GP during an appointment. This is just one concern.
Does anyone know if this is normal?
Or is it an oversight by my GP surgery?
Could I ask them to include it on my NHS record, or will they refuse due to no shared care?
I only want them to put my ADHD medication and dosage on my records.
Thanks to anyone that can offer guidance with this 😊
