Just looking for some advice - I bought car insurance in January and asked them when I had to declare being type one during my set up process.
They told me it won’t impact my premiums so they dont ask for it when purchasing, just to let them know after it’s been set up. So I buy my policy and tell them immediately through the chat bot service. The agent informs me that it’s added to the notes - highlighting that because it won’t impact my premiums, it won’t be on the policy documents I can see.
A few months pass and I start to doubt they updated my plan, so I asked them if they have it in their notes. Another agent confirmed that they were not aware of my condition.
I asked them to send me the logs and I can see the initial discussion clearly. There is record of me making them aware.
Is it worth logging a complaint with my insurance? I don’t really understand the impact this would have had on me if I didn’t check
