I played Hearts of Stone multiple times, and I always sided with Olgierd, and I understood his motives really well. Now that I just finished Blood and Wine yesterday, I am wondering what would Regis do if he was Geralt, in his place, would he support Olgierd too even though he abandoned his wife and killed her father, or side with Gunter? I personally think he would do the first option because siding with Gunter sounds way too evil for his philosophical and moral beliefs, but I am still not sure. I remember how much Regis hated Sianna even though she had pretty justified motives, so I don’t think he would understand Olgierd. On the other hand, he is a vampire and I am sure he understands what it’s like to make serious mistakes and be perceived as evil.
