“ACCOUNT SUSPENDED” Message After Latest Update Appears to Be a Bug
Following this week’s update for The Finals, multiple players have reported receiving the following message either after completing a match or immediately after launching the game:
“ACCOUNT SUSPENDED
Your account has been suspended for behavior that violates our code of conduct.
For more information, please contact Player Support.”
At the moment, this appears to be a widespread issue/bug rather than an actual enforcement action. Reports are coming from players on PS5, Xbox, and potentially PC as well.
In most cases, the issue can be temporarily resolved by completely closing the game and reopening it. After restarting, affected players are generally able to log back in and continue playing normally.
If you encounter this message:
• Do not panic
• Do not assume your account has been permanently banned
• Try restarting the game first before contacting support
This seems to be related to the latest patch/update, and it is likely that the Embark team is already aware of the issue and working on a fix.
If more information becomes available, it would be helpful for affected players to share:
- Platform (PS5/Xbox/PC)
- When the message appeared
- Whether restarting fixed the issue
