3k USD in Spain enough?
I’m exploring my options for where to spend my birthday in mid September. I’m thinking about doing a month of slow travel in Spain. Would $3k USD be enough to comfortably get through the month excluding flights?

Hello, I’ve been doing a lot more research trying to find a really good quality backpack for my upcoming Europe trip. Last year, I travelled around Asia for three months using the Mountain Warehouse 40L pack, which was decent for my budget at the time.
I’ve been eyeing Osprey packs, specifically the Osprey Farpoint 40, but there are a few things I don’t like about it. I’m not a fan of the lack of hip belt pockets and the zipper setup when the backpack straps are out. It also doesn’t seem to fit my back very well. I’m a 5’1 male, so fit is pretty important for me. Osprey has been one of the brands I’ve wanted for a while, so it’s honestly disappointing that the Farpoint doesn’t feel right on me.
I was recently introduced to the Matador GlobeRider35 Travel Backpack and I really like it. The features and overall design are exactly what I’m looking for, especially something that can work for both travel and light hiking. The only issue is the price, which is way over my budget, so I’m trying to figure out if spending that much on a backpack actually makes sense.
Does anyone have recommendations for alternatives I should check out that’s carry on approved? Ideally something similar in style and function to the Matador that works well for travel and hiking, especially for a smaller frame.
If you have 3,000 USD, where would you go and how long would that take you on a trip, not including flight costs. I’m trying to see my options for that amount of budget. I’ve been to most of Southeast Asia already.
Is there any group that plays pickleball regularly? I usually play with my brother and his friends, but he’s been getting busy lately and I’m hoping to play more often this summer. We normally hit outdoor courts around the city when the weather’s nice.
I’m in my 20s and looking to connect with people around my age who play casually or regularly. I just finished college, so I’m trying to spend more of my free time outside and stay active this summer.
I’ve noticed there are a lot of running groups around the city, but I haven’t really seen the same kind of community for pickleball. Would love to know if something like that exists.
I didn’t expect attraction passes in Italy to go way over budget. I’m planning about three months ahead, but a lot of museums and major sights, like the spot to see The Last Supper, are already sold out. Third-party sites still offer tours, but they’re really overpriced.
Even places like the Colosseum are tough. Demand is so high that you basically have to be quick across multiple devices just to get tickets at normal prices. Otherwise, resellers charge way more. I don’t really feel like getting stuck in that kind of ticket scramble, so I’m starting to think I might just skip some of these and see what I can manage along the way.
So fomo effect of not being able to get tickets to these attractions is frustrating haha. Any tips for a backpacker on a budget who still wants to enjoy Italy’s main attractions without spending too much?
