I'm not the biggest fan of Pen and Ink skins, but something in particular annoyed me about the new Mandalorian one.
But I figured out its all the random pointless chunky black lines everywhere that they are not needed. An actual comic artist wouldn't put them there, especially when the chrome of the armour will already do the job.
Mando's armour is round and flat to show the full effect of the chrome, when you lazily slap lines everywhere it just makes it look cluttered, messy and almost like it's covered in wrinkles and creases.
I took it into Photoshop and cleaned it up couldn't believe how much better it looks, I would definitely buy this and its still celshaded so that keeps the people from crying about the original BP skin.
I also added a bit more depth to the flat colours elsewhere like the cape.
Really do wish the art team didn't go so overboard with these pen and ink skins, if we are doomed to have them I would like them to at least look good.
(There's still other issues though like the scribbled Mudhorn sigil and the visor being way too wide, but this is a start).
