Anyone had a similar issue as me? Coming to a stop, if I brake hard enough to compress the front forks any, the alarm displaying low oil pressure will briefly come on. Other than this issue the bike operates smoothly.
Without any meaningful results I have:
1: checked oil levels multiple times as well as topping it off. It should be correct, but with the dipstick on these things it's hard to get a guaranteed read.
2: Kept my ears open for any cam chain tensioner issues, but it sounds normal.
My current hypothesis is one of
A: I am being a dummy and misreading my oil level, causing it to be way lower than I think
B: There is an issue with sloshing, where the oil moves forward in the sump, causing the pickup to suck air, briefly dropping pressure.
C: defective oil pressure sensor
At this point I'm considering doing an oil change myself to see if that fixes anything, I am due for it soon anyways. I use the bike as my daily commuter and my nearest workshop doesn't have time available for another month, so anything I can do myself at this point would be great.
