Hi everyone,

We’re planning a short 4 day trip in the second half of July and looking for recommendations for an all-inclusive resort.

This will be our first time at an all-inclusive and foreign vacation, as we haven’t traveled much before, so we’re trying to find something simple and family-friendly.

We are traveling with a 2-year-old and a 13-year-old.

  • We (parents) and our toddler don’t know how to swim, so we only go into shallow water briefly or lazy rivers.
  • Our 13-year-old enjoys water slides and water parks
  • We are not interested in ocean swimming or water sports, but walking on the beach is nice

What we’re looking for:

  • A resort with a good water park / slides
  • Shallow pools or splash areas for a toddler
  • A family-friendly environment (not party-focused)
  • Prefer places where smoking or weed use is not very visible

We’re open to Mexico, the Caribbean, or anywhere with a reasonable flight from the U.S.

Any recommendations would be really helpful. Thank you!
