Hi everyone!

First-time mom here with some concerns about my baby. I've already emailed her pediatrician and am waiting to hear back, but I wanted to see if any other parents have experienced something similar.

My daughter is 13 weeks old and has been on Similac 360 Sensitive formula since she was 3 weeks old. We recently increased her feeds from 60–90 ml to 100–120 ml consistently, and around the same time her eczema has been noticeably flaring up.

The flare-ups have gotten so bad that when we apply creams or lotions to her skin, she screams like she's in pain: it seems like it's stinging her. We've tried several different creams and lotions and she reacts the same way to all of them.

We're wondering if the cow's milk proteins in her formula could be triggering the flare-ups, and we're considering switching her to a hypoallergenic, non-cow's milk based formula, though we want to check with her doctor first.

Has anyone else dealt with formula-related eczema flare-ups in their baby? Did switching formulas help? Any advice or experiences would mean a lot right now. 💛
