Best cutting technique for hair systems

Best cutting technique for hair systems

When it comes to cutting hair systems, I’m honestly a bit confused about what technique gives the best and most natural result.

My goal is:

- good blending with my real hair

- natural movement/texture

- and avoiding that effect where the sides flip upwards once the hair dries

What do you guys think works best for hair systems?

- Razor?

- Thinning scissors?

- Regular haircut scissors?

And what should I tell my stylist/barber to get the most natural result possible?

Hey guys,

Does anyone know why the sides of my hair system flip upwards like this instead of laying flat naturally?

It creates a slight “helmet hair” effect and I’m not sure what causes it or how to avoid it in the future. I’m trying not to end up looking like the duck in the second photo 😂
