I posted here about a month ago regarding my device suddenly hanging/freezing during trivial tasks like using WhatsApp call+ Contactless payment+ FB at the same time.

I got this device from official Samsung Ireland website and payed a hefty amount as you can understand.

First time this happened on the 7th day of my purchase.

I thoughts maybe a software bug/issue

Happened again after 4 days.

I updated the software, contacted Customer Support prompted to run device in Safe mode, nothing comes up.

Device was working smoothly after the updates.

Now, 6 days ago it happened again, mobile froze down screen all black and not responding not even restarting or turning off for about 4-5 mins.

Then getting back on its own like nothing happened.

This happened while I was at the airport and all my boarding passes etc were in the phone, very bad timing.

Today I have contacted the tech support via chat, who referred me to the Shop team who sent me back to Tech support

They are denying device replacement as the cooling period was 14 days which I didn't know.

They recommended remote assessment

And offered me a repair if required.

Any suggestions/support/recommendations

As I m really pissed to spend this much money on a most likely faulty device and then get a repair not a replacement which to me is unfair
