Just finished making this thing for the girlfriend.

It's got an old 5 inch pi screen I had kicking about

pi3b and a cheap but decent mechanical keyboard.

3d printed, bondo and paint.

It's my first time making anything like this and I will say it was fun. Green button on the right opens focuswriter. One on the left shuts it down and the big switch cuts power

I extended all the USB ports and power to the side

No battery all runs off of USB power.

I'm considering adding a UPS to it at some stage for safety.
