I've been looking at alot of showcases and thought about how to get him into his ult state as fast as possible. Assuming that there's always a harmony character in the team, what about S5 Ruan mei LC? It gives 20 Energy at the start of the fight, and Blades LC also gives 20, giving him just enough to ult at the very start of the fight. Tribbie would follow up from him ulting, ashveil would follow up off of that, giving him some ult stacks at 0 AV.

Mines already at S3 so I could get it to S5 in a few patches, but idk is it worth it? Or is it better to just ult as close to his first natural turn as possible?

A response to a sentiment that I have repeatedly seen on this site over the last few years. This frankly weird sentiment that comedy's main purpose is to do anything other than to make people laugh. This is nonsense, the primary purpose of stand-up is to make people laugh, that's it. Not to make people think, or to provide one's thinly veiled opinions on a topic in a joke-y tone and calling it "comedy, but to make people laugh. You CAN do those other things while making people laugh, and it can and often does elevate the craft, but way too often I'm seeing "comics" completely skip having a punchline just to make whatever topical point they're trying to make, whether that's punching down on a group of people, making fun of people on the other side of the aisle of a hot button issue. I do not care as long as you actually deliver it in a funny way.

Too many stand-up shows I've been seeing over the last few years are trying to get the audience to clap instead of just being fucking funny. There are VERY good comics throughout history that have pulled this off like Carlin, but he is literally the peak of the field and has not been dethroned since. There is nothing about comics that gives them a heightened sense on moral or social issues that makes their thoughts on any given matter more relevant than anyone else's. No unique trait whatsoever that you can't argue isn't also exhibited by authors, actors, etc.

I see this sentiment that you can't get mad at or take offence to jokes or stand-up comedy in general. Why? Its a performance, if it sucks it gets criticised same as literally any other art form. Literally anyone can just say some bigoted shit in a joke-y voice and call it comedy, even if it has no semblance of humor to it. Why did everyone gaslight themselves into thinking that this particular form of artistics expression should get a barrier from criticism that other mediums that do the same shit simply don't have? I have no idea where this nonsense notion of them being modern-day philosopher kings that are supposed to "speak truth to power" comes from, when only a handful of them actually do. We can all think of a handful of comics that certainly don't do that shit at all, or do the opposite. It's beyond embarrassing to see people act like modern-day self-proclaimed jesters are some higher-level thinkers when most of them are mediocre at best, and a lot of them are just shitty people in general.
