i have several monitors with strobing, and i have come to the conclusion is i would rather play 600hz with only 240fps than use 240hz and 240fps with strobing on, and have a clearer image (mainly in ufo test), obviously the best of both worlds would be 600hz 600fps, but i think the input lag/mouse feeling > slight increase in motion clarity (people arent moving fast in cs2/cod etc) is just way better

and yes, higher hz, regardless of fps, always feels better, its like playing 60fps on a 144hz or 60hz monitor, the 60hz will feel much much worse
