So last season I decided to start playing comp overwatch for the first time ever since starting around 2019-2020 on different accounts and systems.

I played with a buddy of mine who had played a little, I play dps (shocker right?) mostly sojourn, venture, and emre (once again shocker). I’m trying to learn freya but not in comp, anyway. I placed plat 5 and I HAVENT BEEN ABLE TO MOVE AT ALL. I go down max one or two but I haven’t ranked up into 4 once. I get like 1% away from rank up and then lose 4 straight to a diamond 1 player.

Any tips on ranking up? I think my biggest issue is I die a little too much, I’m usually 3 or 4 more deaths then the next player on my team
