This is really bugging me, I recall this movie I watched when I was younger, it started of in a desert or sandy place with some soldiers in a car trying to escape a robot that was after them, I believe they all or most of them get killed even after firing at it and throwing grenades. The robot I remember to look kind of like the one from the cartoon, the Incredibles 1. except it was shiny silver metal, it was sort of circular with 4-8 limbs. I think the general idea that it was a military weapon that had gone rouge. the Movie continues with some people from different places getting stuck on an island I believe with this robot that is trying to kill them and in the end they escape in a helicopter. one or two of the people was a bad man who had stolen a lot of cash (could be wrong) but only a few of them escape or maybe none of them. The movie seemed to be either low budget or simple not well made and not a major title as i cant find it anywhere, the movie was in English (American most likely), the CGI and film looked about 1990s-2000s I wouldn't say any later then 2010s. I had it on DVD but cant find it. The robot would kill them in somewhat gruesome ways, would have been rated M (Australia) at least or maybe MA. The start of the movie is in kind of a desert or sandy place but the rest of the movie or some other parts is in a greener area with more fauna. If anyone knows anything that'd be great.
