To keep it simple my parents are renting to this guy downstairs it’s him and his gf. When we first started renting to him in one month in. He starts talking about I’m not paying and I’m living 6 months for free. So when rent was due he didn’t give it to us. My mom got some eviction notice from the lawyer and it was complicated. It wasn’t like he was going to get evicted right away since I’m sure that’s not how it works. It was just the warning cause he didn’t wanna pay. The moment we gave him that he got scared and paid. I’m assuming he acts smart but i found out he can’t read, he’s only 2 years older than me I have no idea why parents decide to rent to him. But he’s starting again talking about I’m not paying again and that he’s living for free. He agree to us he was going to leave in the summer but he hasn’t left. The problem is we don’t have a lease agreement and he lives in the basement. We are barely able to pay off the mortgage we have with the money he’s giving us and the money I’m giving to my parents. Does it really take 6 months to get him out?

I’m trying to find some place hourly to Yk have some time with a friend. But the problem is we’re both 19 and I don’t know if there is even hotels that rent too 19 year olds. So I wanna stop wasting my time and just ask if there is any that actually do.
