Girls who’ve lived in Indian college hostels with common/shared bathrooms — I have a doubt and I’d really want honest answers
Showering + changing clothes in girls’ hostels
This is my biggest confusion 😭
After showering, do girls usually:
\- wear clothes inside the bathroom itself and come out fully changed?
\- or wear a robe/towel and go back to the room, then change there?
Because bathrooms are small, there may be a time limit, and I don’t want my jeans/clothes getting wet while changing inside.
But if I come back in a robe/towel, how does changing in the room work if roommates are there?
Do people just normally change in front of each other?
Do you ask them to leave?
Do you wait?
What is the usual hostel girl code here 😭
I’m moving to a hostel soon and I’m overthinking everything, so please tell me the real practical situation and any hacks that help.
