do you have a village? we are expecting our second, and we have no support close by. what tips / advices do you have with the 1-2 transition, specifically if you and your partner do it alone.

our kiddo goes to daycare, but has never spent the night away from us. how did you go birth your second, who took care of your first when you’re away? for those with no village like us, how did you manage? what did you do to prepare ahead, and anything we should know? did you hire a mother’s helper? post partum doula?
