Intense night episode

Hi friends. Had something strange happen last night, wondering if it has happened to others. 50 in peri for 2-3 years now. I am overall quite healthy and have many of the common symptoms- night sweats, intermittent rage, heart palms, hair loss, heart palps blah blah blah. It sucks but I manage.

I woke up repeatedly last night with discomfort in my chest, assumed it was my usual palps, tried to go back so sleep. Woke again suddenly and felt woozy, tried to get up and assess, felt overwhelmed as if my body was sweating all over and about to lose consciousness, my hands went numb and then into intense tingling/shaking and tingling down the front of my legs. Strange sensations what felt like under my skin. I alerted my husband because I was really scared. The episode passed- probably no more than a minute or 90 seconds. I gathered myself and tried to go back to sleep but I still felt pain in my chest so went into the ER in the early morning (just in case- I'm traveling and my next destination is further from a hospital). I'm totally fine. Heart, BP, bloodwork all completely normal. No ideas or explanations of what it could be, and of course I felt silly.

Weird, scary, but also...perhaps not abnormal given the seemingly endless set of symptoms that we endure? Was this perhaps just a night sweat on steroids?

If you've made it this far, thanks
