Hello everyone, I could use some help deciding which tent to get. I am between the X-Mid 2 and X-Dome 1+. Also trying to decide between regular and solid interior. Here are some factors to consider.
- I am 6’2”, and want to be able to spread my stuff out inside of the tent. That’s why I am not really considering the X-Mid 1
- I will be backpacking around Mt. Whitney for all of July and August for a job this summer. Not sure how high we will go to camp, but I assume up to the snow-line.
- A difference of a few ounces is not of much concern to me
- A major price difference does play a larger factor for me
