Howdy Folks,

Small GC here. Building a spec on a small infill lot and hired a dirt contractor for tree/fence removal, grub, flatten, and haul off.

Received invoice, so swung by site.

Told them I’m withholding 15% of invoice until the lot has actually been grubbed. It appears to have been scraped by a toothed bucket, but it has certainly not seen a root rake attachment.

I wanted to make a post and either get validation that I’m being fair, or be set straight. Thanks
