Hi everyone, I’m having a specific issue with the speech-to-text feature in Grounded 2. When I speak, my girlfriend hears me and sees my voice icon, but no subtitles appear on her screen. However, when she speaks, I can see her subtitles perfectly.

My Specs: MSI PC (i5 14400F, RTX 5060), Sony Inzone Headset (Inzone Hub).

What I’ve already tried:

• Windows Dictation: Win + H works perfectly in Notepad and even inside the game’s text chat. Windows translates my voice to text just fine.

• Xbox Privacy: All settings on account.xbox.com are set to "Allow" (Voice/Text communication, Content sharing).

• In-Game Settings: Speech-to-text is ON for both of us. We tried switching hosts, but it didn't change anything.

• Windows Services: GamingServices and Speech Language Packs are up to date. Mic is set as "Default Communication Device".

• Network: NAT is Open. Standard text chat works fine.

The game recognizes I'm speaking (icon moves), but the automatic transcription isn't being sent to the
other player.

It was working perfectly when Early Access launched. We took a break to wait for updates and came back for the latest 'Beat the Heat' update. It worked on the very first day we played, but then it completely stopped working and hasn't worked since.

I’ve already contacted Obsidian Support, but they told me this is a Windows-level feature and there’s nothing they can do on their end. My girlfriend is deaf, so this speech-to-text feature is absolutely essential for us to play together and communicate in real-time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
