cEDH scoop issues
Hi everyone, i'm asking a question about a unpleasant discussion happened yesterday at a local cEDH tournament.
Keeping it short, i'm at 1 life, i control a city of brass and i cant block a flying creature. The opponent who is taking the turn controls Darevi and a Gea's Cradle that's tapped; he needs that Darevi deal damage to be able to untap Cradle and he will win the game with a loop. He obviously attack me, after the attackers declaration i tap city of brass an lose the game, Darevi did't do damage so the game continues.
I would like to point out that I had no friends at the table to win for him or that I had any tensions with this player.
i'm not a veteran of the format and the Darevi's player told me that my play was incorrect and that in a serious tournament I would have been wared, accusing me of incorrect behavior and of putting him at a disadvantage.
The Darevi guy is right or i made only a questionable play?
