Hello! Throwaway account because of sharing the location.

I have a small collection of anime figures. I keep the boxes and some of the figures under my bed because I don’t have a lot of space right now. The boxes are mostly cardboard and plastic. They are kept inside a fabric, zippered under bed storage, under the bed.

Somehow these bugs got into the zippered fabric container, and into every box. However, the boxes and container are undamaged, and the bugs are mostly dead.

I wiped the figures, plastic, and boxes with a tissue; I was afraid to use anything with a chemical in case it damaged the paint.

I tried to take pictures and video of the bugs, but my phone is old so the quality isn’t great; sorry about that.

Number of bugs: Around 20 dead, 2 alive (alive ones were wriggling lava stage?)

Size: Around 1cm including antennae. They were very small.

Location: Northeastern NJ.

I want to prevent this from happening again. And hopefully get rid of any bugs that may still be under the bed… :(

I really appreciate any help you can give me in identifying these bugs!
