Potential Rental Scam?
I found a listing on Craigslist that seems legitimate, I texted the owner and they've asked me to submit a credit check before touring. The email link looks a little suspicious. I asked if I could meet in person or view the property first to avoid sending details to a potential scammer, and they said the credit check doesn't require anything like that. I do understand wanting a credit check before going out of your way for a tour, but this feels weird. I'm thinking it's a scammer, but any insight?
