downloading a free pack off of the internet for my PAID version of ableton lite (idk why they call it lite when you still have to pay for a product in order to use it why are we in the late stage capitalism hellscape that permits this)
and then i still can't use 90% of the instruments because even though the pack was literally free, ableton throws a tantrum and goes "THIS DEVICE IS NOT AVAILABLE IN THIS VERSION OF ABLETON"
WHY NOT
DO I NOT ALREADY HAVE ENOUGH LIMITATIONS ALREADY WITH THIS SOFTWARE WHY DOES EVERY SINGLE GOD DAMN FUCKING THING NEED TO BE BEHIND NOT ONE BUT SEVERAL DIFFERENT PAYWALLS
I JUST WANT TO MAKE SOME SIMPLE SHORT SONGS BUT EVERY TIME I TRY TO DO IT I HAVE TO FIGHT THIS FUCKING PROGRAM BEFORE I CAN EVEN MAKE AFUCKIN BASS LINE
no i'm not going to pay $439 just so i can access basic functionality that makes the program BEGIN to be usable
i've tried so hard to make this program work for several years and i am actually uninstalling it now.
if you wanted me to buy the full program, you failed so fucking bad by making it impossible to use this software for anything other than fucking rave songs.
