The Witness
The amount of players that don’t understand the boss fight mechanics for The Witness in rushdown is appalling to me. The first part of the boss fight is pretty straightforward. Don’t die, damage the sub. After that you have to shoot the darkness nuts that protect you from the poison, grab the relic and then “super” the sub to remove his immunity. Then you have to stand on the crack and shield from the witness/environmental attack while the rest of your fireteam damages the sub. Once the sub dies, you grab the sword destroy the darkness node and then the statue. Rinse and repeat on the second sub until you’re done, shooting the darkness nuts as needed to protect from poison air. For the love of god, if you don’t know what to do with the relic please don’t pick it up. Getting through 4 encounters in rushdown just to die part way through the witness fight because someone’s punching grims with the relic is a nightmare.
