Without being too long winded, Im about to get out of the military here soon, and I was curious about: A) the climate of WFF now compared to 3-4 years ago, and B)Is it worth getting back into? I spent about a year as a perm with a handcrew back in 2022-2023 and a season on an engine prior. Havent kept up with the politics, just curious if anything has changed and/or gotten worse.

Any other tips for transitioning out and back into fire would also be appreciated
